About the organization
NIFT is the pioneering institute of fashion education in the country and has been in the vanguard of providing professional human resource to the textile and apparel industry. It was made a statutory institute in 2006 by an Act of the Indian Parliament with the President of India as ‘Visitor’ and has full fledged campuses all across the country. Over the years NIFT has also been working as a knowledge service provider to the Union and State governments in the area of design development and positioning of handlooms and handicrafts.
About the notification
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) established by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India; a premier Institute of Fashion education with 19 Campuses located pan India, namely at New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kannur, Shillong, Patna, Raebareli, Kangra, Jodhpur, Srinagar, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Daman & upcoming NIFT Varanasi Campus. The Institute is having excellent facilities for Fashion education & Research in Design, Management and Technology and is looking for personnel for Administrative / Technical positions for upcoming NIFT Varanasi Campus as well as NIFT Raebareli Campus. NIFT Varanasi/ Raebareli Campus invites applications for the following Group-C posts on Long Term Contract basis initially for a period of 03 years with a provision for regularization.
